How to use DPI Changer
Prepare images for print, ID photos, forms, and document uploads that ask for 300DPI or 600DPI. DPI metadata and pixel dimensions can be set separately before batch export.

Processing method
DPI metadata and pixel dimensions are separate. Density is written to JPG or PNG output, while visible resolution changes only when pixel values are set.
How files and inputs are handled

Frequently Asked Questions
Does changing DPI also change pixel dimensions?
No. DPI is print-resolution metadata. Pixel dimensions are controlled separately with the width and height fields.
Can both JPG and PNG store DPI?
Yes. JPG results use JFIF density metadata, and PNG results use pHYs physical resolution metadata.
Can I change DPI for multiple images at once?
Yes. Upload multiple images, set one DPI and pixel rule, then download individual files or a ZIP.
